"When you are young they assume you know nothing," says Taylor Swift. This strongly resonates with me - how at times, I feel small because of my age, not only from the people around me but also from within myself. But I've also been taught to try hard, know my value, and make the most of every opportunity that comes across my path.I joined Project Melo as part of my personal agenda to broaden my horizons, and the journey exceeded my expectations. It was a tough but wholesome and fun-filled experience from the start. Throughout my six months as a fellow, and as a member up until now, meeting the prominent leaders and decision-makers in Hong Kong has been a refreshing experience and has given me a brighter outlook for the future, knowing that there are many good leaders out there who want to listen to our voices - and I'm always thankful for Project Melo for providing this platform.Having completed the 2022 fellowship, I came out as an empowered youth with enhanced communication skills that I use in my day-to-day job now. Melo has opened doors of opportunities for me, and I look forward to continuing to create an impact in what I do.
